Dance with us this summer! Whether you are training for an upcoming R.A.D. examination or simply want to stay in shape (or get back in shape) over the summer, these classes are for you. We are offering Intermediate Foundation to Advanced R.A.D. syllabus classes for exam preparation, open Advanced classes and contemporary dance. All classes are open to drop-in students.

Payment & Registration
Exam Students All exam students must register in a full four weeks of classes, and any additional weeks until the date of their exam. Intermediate Foundation & Intermediate class rate (4 weeks): $180.00 Additional weeks: $45.00/week Advanced class rate (4 weeks): $300.00 Additional weeks: $75.00 per week
Drop-In Students Drop in rate: $18.00/class A class card of $85.00 for 5 classes may be purchased

Teachers
Pia Bouman Artistic Director, Teacher and Founder C.T. (R.A.D.)
Pia Bouman received her professional training in The Netherlands, Cologne and in Toronto. Her teaching is unique in that it touches each student in a special way. In her classes, students will discover that to dance means to understand poetry, science, history and life. She founded the school's company, YMI Dancing to enable students to experience and learn through performance. Mrs. Bouman received nominations for the 'Women Who Make a Difference' Award (Toronto Life Magazine) and was recognized in he House of Commons on International Women's day in 2002. She is the recipient of The Queen Elizabeth Golden Jubilee Commemorative Medal (2003), and in 2005 received the Paul Harris Fellowship from Rotary International.
Nagisa Inoue A.I.S.T.D. - National Dance, B.F.A. Dance
Nagisa studied in Japan, Vancouver BC and Toronto. She shares her dance experience with all her students.
Yuichiro Inoue T.Dip. RAD
Yuichiro Inoue was born in Japan and received his training at Hatano Ballet School in Japan, and John Cranko Ballet School in Stuttgart, Germany. He performed with Staatstheater Braunschweig and Badisches staatstheater Karlsruhe, before moving to Donlon Dance Company under director Marguerite Donlon, at Saarlaendisches Statts theatre in Saarbruecken. Mr. Inoue then completed the Teacher Training Program for Professional Dancers at The National Ballet School of Canada, and achieved RAD status. He has taught at NBS, the Hatano Ballet School, and the Alma International Project in Tokyo. He is also an accomplished choreographer, having created works for the Hantano Ballet School Festival as well as a solo on a member of the Sarasota Ballet Company of Florida. He has had the pleasure of working with Pierre Wyss & Antonio Gomes, Oskar Araiz, Tsutomu Ben Ida, Jean Renshaw, William Forsythe, Renato Zanella, Marco Santi & Hideo Fukagawa. |
