Grade 6 - 8 Ballet

Girls: Optional style and colour of leotard - as long as the leotard is enhancing the body line and has no distracting strap-designs in the back, Pink ballet slippers. Also: a black circular R.A.D. character skirt* and character shoes with 3 cm heel are required for Grades 6, 7 & 8. Short hair must be held off the face, Long hair must be in a bun. Students entered for one of the Higher Grades exams will need to rent their exam outfits from the studio. Their teacher will coordinate closer to examination time in the spring.

* The character skirts are rented from the school at time of registration for $35.00. The skirts will be assigned in the first weeks and are to remain on the school property.

Boys: Optional well fitted white T-shirt or Tank top or white tank style leotard, Navy Blue or Black (cotton-blend) footless tights, white socks and white ballet slippers with white elastics.

Intermediate Foundation - Advanced 2, Technique 2 - Technique 4

Girls: Optional style and colour of leotard - as long as the leotard is enhancing the body line and has no distracting strap-designs in the back. Pink Ballet slippers, ‘Soft’ blocks for non-pointe classes and pointe shoes for pointe classes. (n.b.: Wrap around short skirt allowed). Hair must be in a bun. Short hair must be held off the face.

Boys: Same as Grade 6-8 above.

Please Note:

1) If the student is not dressed according to dress code, or is in unsafe or inappropriate clothing for the activity of dancing, teachers are permitted to not allow a student in their class.

2) No gum or food in the studio.
